Where a file is processed depends on where you use PageJoy. The website, ChatGPT and Claude use different file routes.
PageJoy has no ads. We never sell personal data. We never train AI on customer files.
PDFs and photos on the website
PDFs and photos are processed in your own browser and are never uploaded.

Files in ChatGPT
In ChatGPT, a file is passed to our server, processed and deleted straight away.

Files in Claude
You choose the file with our own upload button inside the PageJoy panel.
We never read files uploaded to the Claude chat. A chat upload is not the route for giving a file to PageJoy.

Templates and teams
PageJoy Templates supports saved clients and items. Their storage, retention and access arrangements are Business Templates records are shared with authorised workspace members. Read Privacy for the full details.
In a team, website PDF and Photo files stay on each person's own device and are never uploaded. In ChatGPT, files are passed to our server, processed and deleted straight away.
