PageJoyfree downloads and what counts as a download
You get three free downloads of each PageJoy tool per calendar month. PDF, Templates and Photo each have their own three-download allowance.
You can try PageJoy on the website or in ChatGPT without a PageJoy account. In Claude, a free PageJoy account is required. You can sign in with Google, Microsoft or email.
What counts as a download?
One download counts once:
1. A file downloaded.
2. A document downloaded or emailed.
3. A result returned in chat.
Converting several photos together in one go counts as one download.
Opening, previewing and editing are free. Failed jobs do not count. Your first download needs no email. Confirm your email from the second download.
When do free downloads reset?
free downloads reset at 00:00 UTC on the first day of each calendar month. Unused free downloads do not roll over.
How are uses counted across platforms?
On the website, downloads are counted per browser until you sign in. In ChatGPT, they are counted per anonymised ChatGPT user. In Claude, they are counted per free PageJoy account.
Once you sign in to PageJoy, your downloads follow your account wherever you use it.
What happens when I have used all three?
Your free download allowance for that tool is used until the next monthly reset. free downloads become available again at 00:00 UTC on the first day of the next calendar month.
Opening, previewing and editing remain free.
What if I have an active plan or day pass?
An active paid plan or day pass provides unlimited use of all three tools on the website, in ChatGPT and in Claude.
